Neeja

Fafowora Oluwagbeminija Joshua popularly known as Neeja is a Gospel Artist who is known for making covers of Gospel songs on his social media handles, especially on his TikTok account. He is a Lover of God, Music Minister and lover of good music.

Neeja was born on June 15, 2002, in Osun State. He grew up in a Christian family and developed a passion for music from an early age. He attended St. John’s Anglican Primary School and later proceeded to Osun State College of Education, Ilesa, where he studied Music Education. He graduated in 2022 with a National Certificate in Education (NCE).

The 21-year-old Talented Neeja hails from Osun State in South-West Nigeria.

Career

Neeja started his music career as a choir member in his local church. He also participated in various music competitions and events, such as the MTN Project Fame West Africa, where he emerged as one of the finalists in 2020. He also auditioned for The Voice Nigeria in 2021, but did not make it to the live shows.

However, Neeja’s breakthrough came when he started making covers of gospel songs on TikTok, especially the sped-up versions, which attracted millions of views and followers. Some of the songs he covered include Joy in Chaos by Moses Bliss, Hosanna by Steve Crown, Bukole Owo Oluwa by Tope Alabi, and N be Lori Aye mi o by Nathaniel Bassey.

In July 2023, The gospel music artist, Fafowora Oluwagbeminija (Neeja) was signed by the Moses Bliss Owned Record Label, Spotlite Nation, adding to the growing list of gifted fast-rising artistes in Spotlite Production Limited — a renowned recording and management organisation.

Spotlite’s mission is to empower Gospel Artists and promote Gospel music worldwide, led by Minister Moses Bliss, the ‘Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus’ crooner. They have signed other gospel artists like Doris Joseph, Ebuka songs, Festizie

Neeja’s journey to this point has been one of dedication and hard work. He is a diligent and motivated individual, committed to serving God and bringing joy to humanity through his music
